Fees & Insurance
A grounded place to begin, with clear and connected care.
Session Fees
$185 per 50-minute session for out-of-network clients.
In network: Premera & LifeWise.
Superbills are available for out-of-network reimbursement where applicable.
I also use Mentaya, a secure billing tool that can help send or (when your plan allows) electronically submit out-of-network superbills. It doesn’t change or guarantee your benefits, but it can make the reimbursement process feel a bit easier on the paperwork side.
Sliding-Scale Support
I keep a limited number of sliding-scale spots available. You’re welcome to ask if one is currently open.
Pro Bono Support
In an effort to increase accessibility, I hold 1–2 pro bono therapy cases at a time, depending on my caseload.
If you’re considering inquiring about these spaces, thank you — and I gently ask that you do so thoughtfully, with care for both your own needs and the limited nature of these spots.
These are intended for people who might otherwise not access therapy at all, and inquiries are welcomed with honesty and intention.
How We Begin
I don’t offer traditional consult calls—not because connection isn’t important, but because I want our first session to be our real first conversation. This gives us space to meet, listen, and begin the work together in a meaningful, relational way.
Session Rhythms
To begin, we meet weekly. This provides a steady container to build trust, notice patterns in real time, and let your story unfold at a thoughtful pace. Over time, we can revisit frequency together based on what feels most supportive.
Client Responsibility
Client care works best when it’s collaborative, grounded in trust, and paced intentionally. For the financial and insurance side of care—including coverage limits, deductibles, copays, and out-of-network reimbursement—clients are responsible for understanding their own benefits. I encourage you to confirm those details directly with your insurance provider before we begin, so our therapy space can stay focused on the deeper work itself.
Mini FAQ
- Do you offer consult calls?
I don’t offer consult calls; instead, I use the first session as our first real conversation so we can begin in the actual therapy space together. - Can I use HSA/FSA funds?
In most cases, yes—many HSA/FSA plans allow you to use funds for therapy. Please check with your specific plan. - What is a superbill?
A superbill is a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company if you have out-of-network benefits. They may reimburse you directly. - How often do we meet at first?
We typically start with weekly sessions to support depth, consistency, and safety in the work. - Can a parent, partner, or other support person be involved?
When it’s clinically appropriate and helpful, yes—while still honoring client confidentiality and agency.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to request a Good Faith Estimate of expected therapy costs before we begin. This estimate is not a bill; it’s a tool to help you plan and feel informed about the financial side of care. For more information about your rights, you can visit the official No Surprises Act resources at cms.gov/nosurprises.
